Origins

Rose and Witch Hazel Toner combines all the properties of two well-known hydrolats for their regenerating, moisturizing and calming virtues for facial care, as well as their two scents that unite wonderfully to captivate you. A perfect formula, also suitable for combination to oily skin, thanks to its astringent properties. For daily use, to give a boost to the face and spirit! Damask Rose grows in our gardens. Every year in May, we distill its flowers picked at dawn to extract their sweet scent and offer you the best of their virtues thanks to their hydrolat. Despite a few attempts, Virginia Witch Hazel does not like our soil and does not grow here. We therefore buy dried twigs certified organic by Ecocert from a producer we have chosen. The distillation then takes place on our premises, to guarantee a product that meets our expectations. Virginia Witch Hazel is not distilled for its essential oil but only for its hydrolat. Precautions for use

Hydrolats are gentler substances than essential oils. They have no intrinsic contraindications.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of reacting to the active ingredients they contain (if in doubt, perform an elbow crease test).

Storage: Please note that floral waters are fresh products. Their shelf life is therefore shorter than that of essential oils (approximately 1 year). To maximize their shelf life, make sure to store your hydrolats in a cool place, away from air, heat, and light.
