Origins

Well-known in Africa, where it is considered precious, shea butter is frequently used on babies' skin to soothe irritations and itching. It comes from the "butter tree," which grows in West Africa. This tree only produces its first fruit at around 30 years of age. These fruits contain the kernels from which shea butter is extracted.

A true treasure of softness, shea butter melts delicately onto the skin for immediate comfort. Versatile and safe, it's suitable for the whole family: from expectant mothers to infants, including those with atopic skin prone to eczema. It's the essential ingredient for your homemade balms and your natural skincare kit!
Quick tip: To keep your hands and feet soft, massage a dab of shea butter into your hands at bedtime and sleep with cotton gloves or socks.

Properties: Nourishing, protective against cold and friction, softening, regenerating, healing, anti-inflammatory, soothing. Light sunscreen (SPF 4).
