Origins

Planted right next to its cousin German Chamomile (Matricaria) in our garden, we recognize the noble Chamomile by the delicate appearance of its small white petals which form a lovely little fragrant pompom.

Its name comes from the Greek word "khemaimêlon," meaning "ground potato," due to the green apple scent it releases when stepped on. But it would be a mistake to crush this small white flower, as it is packed with benefits for both body and mind. In fact, if in Germany they say it's "capable of anything," it's no coincidence! Roman chamomile is one of the most versatile essential oils.

With its green apple scent, it's the ultimate stress reliever. Anxiety, fears, addictions—the authors describe it as a caress capable of calming overwhelming emotions. Soothing, it's as beneficial for the body as it is for the mind.
It is frequently recommended to soothe irritated, sensitive skin, allergy-prone skin, as well as pain, digestive and oral discomfort.

Beneficial to the feminine sphere, it is also an essential oil that is very suitable for children and pregnant women (over 3 months).

Precautions for use
