Origins

An essential oil that comes to us from Sri Lanka, where this tree can be found all over the island. The harvest takes place during the rainy season; the essential oil is obtained by distilling its inner bark.

Ceylon Cinnamon essential oil evokes travel and exoticism. Its sensual and spicy fragrance warms not only our dishes but also our hearts and bodies. But don't think that its pleasant side makes it harmless! If Danièle Festy describes it as "the Attila of essential oils," it's because it would kill 99.99% of microbes, even the most resistant ones. It intervenes when others have failed. Caution: it is irritating to the skin and should be used with great care.

It proves particularly interesting for fungi or parasites. It is therefore a powerful ally, whether traveling or at home, especially for your digestive comfort and to prevent jet lag.
