Origins

Native to Asia, this large, evergreen pyramidal tree is an excellent remedy for dry coughs. Rooted in the ground, its tip facing the sky, the Cypress is an inspiring tree that promotes grounding and helps get to the essential. A very resistant variety, requiring little water and whose green foliage remains vibrant through the seasons, it has become a symbol of eternity.

Provence Cypress essential oil is known to soothe, in addition to dry coughs, hoarse or lost voices. Decongestant and tonic, it is often recommended for its effects on cellulite, rosacea, varicose veins, or hemorrhoids.

Hormone-like, it is valuable for regulating female cycles and alleviating menopausal discomforts. Like all large trees, the Cypress is also a good psychic rebalancer. It helps to stay centered.

Precautions for use

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Due to its hormone-like properties, this oil is contraindicated in cases of fibroids, mastosis, or hormone-dependent cancers. Always use essential oils diluted in a carrier oil. See our blog for dosage instructions.
