Origins

We distill roses from the aromatic garden for their hydrosol: the famous Rose Water. Its reputation is such that in recent years the cultivated area for this flower has had to be tripled. For each kilo of petals, only the first liter of hydrosol is kept, a ratio of 1/1, to guarantee an optimal concentration of aromatic molecules.


An essential in the world of perfumery, where it represents a timeless classic, Damask Rose is also an excellent skincare product. Its anti-wrinkle properties make it a traditional ally for mature skin. It soothes sensitive and reactive baby skin, and provides comfort and hydration for dry skin.


Properties: Rebalancing, hydrating, microcirculatory, soothing, anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-wrinkle.


Areas of action: Care for sensitive, irritated skin (eczema, redness, rosacea, hives), mature and baby skin, stress, anger, grief. Oriental cuisine.

Precautions for use

Hydrosols are gentler than essential oils. They have no intrinsic contraindications.

However, this does not exclude the possibility of you reacting to the active ingredients they contain (if in doubt, perform an elbow crease test).

Storage: Please note, floral waters are fresh products. Their shelf life is therefore shorter than that of essential oils (approximately 1 year). To maximize it, be sure to store your hydrosols in a cool place, away from air, heat, and light.
