Origins

Endemic to the island, Helichrysum has become the queen of our production, the heart of our craft. In June, we eagerly await the blossoming of the flowers, as this is precisely when they must be picked to benefit from their full power. Helichrysum is hand-picked with a sickle and immediately distilled using steam. When distilling Helichrysum, we keep the water from the first half-hour of distillation because that is where the active plant compounds are most concentrated.


Helichrysum hydrosol is an excellent daily lotion for all skin types. Moreover, it is valuable for delicate skin that is too sensitive to massage: sunburn, burns, thin skin, as well as for young children (in cases of allergies, redness, insect bites, bruises, rashes).

Known for its microcirculatory properties, it is renowned worldwide for preventing bruising and soothing the pain of impacts. Helichrysum also stimulates tissue regeneration, calms burns, and promotes healing. For all these reasons, it is also a formidable shield against skin aging.

Immortelle is endemic to Corsica, yet we decided to cultivate it on our land using organicandbiodynamicfarming methods. It is therefore certified by CertisudandDemeter, as is its floral water.

Precautions for use

Hydrosols are gentler substances than essential oils. They have no intrinsic contraindications.

However, this does not exclude the possibility of reacting to the active ingredients they contain (if in doubt, do an elbow bend test).


Storage: Please note, floral waters are fresh products. Their shelf life is therefore shorter than that of essential oils (approximately 1 year). To maximize it, be sure to store your hydrosols in a cool place, away from air, heat, and light.
