Origins

A small shrub that loves cold and humidity, it is known in Canada as "Wintergreen" due to its ability to stay green all year round - even under snow. Wintergreen has a good yield. By distilling 100 kg of its leaves, up to 2 liters of essential oil are obtained.

Nicknamed "natural aspirin" due to its anti-pain properties, Wintergreen essential oil is a UFO in aromatherapy. It is almost entirely composed of a single active ingredient, present at over 98% in its composition, making it an ultra-powerful oil to be handled with caution.

Wintergreen stimulates circulation in capillary blood vessels and vital energy! It acts deeply and is ideally used in massage. It soothes all body aches: muscle or joint pain, before or after exertion.

Precautions for use

Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children under 12 years of age. Not recommended for people allergic to aspirin or those taking anticoagulants. For external use only.
