Origins

In our garden, a few clumps of lemongrass have been planted next to a lemon verbena bush. When we welcome our guests, we like to let them smell one and then the other to show them how similar their fragrances are. They both share a wonderfully citrusy scent that awakens the spirit and brings a smile to your face.

Lemongrass is a variety of citronella. Tired mind, dull hair, poor circulation: lemongrass is a real pick-me-up.

It is used to create a pure and invigorating atmosphere in the home. It is also not uncommon for it to be diffused in waiting rooms, for its purifying effects on the ambient air.
