Origins

Petit-grain Clementine is a concentrate of Mediterranean sunshine. A powerful calming agent, it helps to promote a positive outlook and soothe nervous tension.

All the citrus fruits in our garden are concentrations of good cheer. Among them is the Clementine tree, whose leaves and small fruits (in the "petit grain" state) are extracted to produce an essential oil with a unique scent that anxieties find very hard to resist! The extraction of the leaves adds a very popular green and woody note to the fragrance of this essential oil.

It's a good alternative for people who don't like the smell of Lavender, the other popular essential oil for promoting sleep and relaxation, provided, of course, that you like its fragrance and use it in small quantities.

The Clementine is often perceived as a typical citrus fruit of the Isle of Beauty. It is said to have been discovered in Oran, Algeria, by Father Clément (hence its name) at the beginning of the 20th century. It is the result of a hybridization of a common mandarin tree and a sweet orange tree. A marriage that gives it a very sweet flavor and has made it a success.

Precautions for use

Avoid during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Always use essential oils diluted in a vegetable oil.
